Help & Learning   /   Reset Your Tablet

Sometimes things go wrong – and the best method to get them working again is to reset the device. If this has happened to you, try the soft reset first before proceeding to the instructions for a hard reset.

Model: YW 100 & 110

Soft Reset

  1. Press and hold the power button by holding the power button down.
  2. Wait 15 seconds.
  3. Power on by holding the power button until you see the Android logo.

Hard Reset

  1. Unplug the device and power off by holding the power button down

  2. Wait 5 seconds, then hold down both the volume up and power buttons (volume up is the side of the long button that is closest to the power button), until you see a screen with “Select Boot Mode” text on it. When you see that, release both buttons.

  3. Press the volume up button to move the arrow until it is pointing at the “Recovery Mode” option, then press the volume down button to select it.

  4. The “android” logo should appear for a few seconds, then you should be in the “Android system recovery” menu.

  5. Use the volume up / down buttons to highlight the “wipe data/factory reset” option, then press the power button to select it.

  6. Use the volume up / down buttons to highlight the “Yes — delete all user data” option, then press the power button to select it.

  7. Once that has completed, you should be returned to the “Android system recovery” menu. Make sure the top option, “reboot system now”, is selected, then press the power button to select it.

  8. The device should reboot and display the “android” logo, followed by the swirling coloured dots. You can then plug the device back in and wait for it to boot up. This will take a long time (up to around 5 minutes).

  9. Once the device has booted back into the app, you should be able to set up the wifi, log in with your credentials and re-download your property data.
